New Castle View, New Castle, New Hampshire

Here's a little 2" x 2" watercolor of a distinctive view along the waterfront of New Castle, New Hampshire. If you're at the Coast Guard station in New Castle, or at Fort Constitution which is right next door, and take the street upriver along the water you can't miss it. (New Castle is just down the Piscataqua River from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and home to Wentworth-by-the-Sea.) I did this in class with Jan Kilburn, an accomplished watercolorist and instructor from Damariscotta, Maine. She sells her prints of local scenes at the Kennedy Gallery on Market Street in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
